Welcome to our

Charity/Volunteering page

Charity/Volunteering:

It is the duty of all Masons to contribute to the Relief of others as liberally as your means will permit. By volunteering your time to those in need, you not only help them, but you are rewarded by knowing that you enriched the life of someone else. In addition, by your actions, you help to promote a positive image of Freemasonry in our community. Please make the time in your schedule to give to those who need you!

Many of us want to help those in need, but do not know where to begin finding them. This website is designed to make it easy for anyone to find a group or individual where you can stretch forth a hand of support. Below is a list of charitable organizations, groups, or individuals (listed alphabetically) who are looking for volunteers or other forms of assistance.

National Marrow Donor Program
If you are between the age of 18 - 60 and in good health, you qualify as a bone marrow donor candidate. By calling 1-800-MARROW2, you can leave a message to have information mailed to you about what is involved in becoming a donor. If you would like to be a donor after reading the information, you would need to give a blood test (the closest test center is American Red Cross, Musser Blood Center, 700 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123-3594, call 215/451-4122). Then you become listed in the registry, and will be called if a match is found.
